Lighting Wave Effects Pedals

Lightning Wave

Modulation Effects Designed, Assembled and Tested in New Zealand.
Lightning Wave effects provide an entirely unique interface for creating modulation waves.

Traditionally a musician would input a combination of dial settings to get a desired modulation waveform.

The Lightning Wave interface enables users to define a waveform by drawing the shape with the fader. Once recorded the LFO shape will stay stored in one of five preset banks.

A top-mounted TRS I/O jack can be configured for single or simultaneous functions involving trigger sync and control voltage input or output. These features can be used independently of the analog effect.

GHOST

If you're looking for a trem that mimics a vintage amplifier tone, this is not it. The Ghost was designed to modulate amplitude transparently and to keep your signal how you already like it. Optical isolation keeps noise at a minimum while providing a smooth response to the wave shapes you create yourself.

Trigger modes add an additional dimension by making it possible to create dynamic swells that are anything from a blip to minutes long.

Expression control can be assigned to depth or the speed of the wave. Controlling a blank preset (see mk3 manual) can also enable the effect to be used as an active volume pedal.

If your favourite tremolo or other modulation effect has CV or 0-5V expression control, you can use a Lightning Wave pedal to create new LFO shapes or keep it in time with a drum machine sync pulse.

ASTRO

A precisely matched 4-stage MOSFET circuit (8-stage available) with optically coupled gate control unlocks this analog phaser circuit to a range of functionality that was previously unheard of.

The carefully designed interface enables an enhanced level of control over the sweep range with little more than a single fader and a near invisible touch sensor.

DOOM

Follow our instagram page to catch the first limited release when it's announced.

The Doom allows you to automate or manually control the crossfade between two input signals. The output is a mono combination that can be derived from two fuzz pedals, multiple pedal chains or even separate instruments being played simultaneously.

Both the audio input and I/O are TRS jacks for optional dual configurations. An effects loop can be created that is split from the main channel, sent from the I/O, and received back via the second channel. Because the I/O is acting as a send, the return is via the ring of the input jack. By default the I/O is configured as the secondary input.
